AN16 PTFE hose with a stainless steel braid under a black outer covering. This is bulk-flow plumbing, intended for dry sump tank feeds, large oil reservoir connections, breather systems and high-capacity fuel lines where a smaller bore would restrict the circuit. The PTFE liner shrugs off hot oil, petrol and alcohol-blended fuels and permeates no vapour, and the braid holds the hose stable under pressure. The black jacket matters more at this size than any other, because a heavy AN16 line pressed against bodywork or a loom will wear through it quickly if the braid is left bare. Use AN16 hose ends made for jacketed PTFE hose.
