AN16 PTFE hose with a nylon braided cover, the largest size in this range. AN16 is bulk-flow plumbing for dry sump tank feeds, big oil reservoir connections, breather systems and high-capacity fuel lines. The PTFE liner permeates no vapour and is stable against hot oil, petrol and alcohol-blended fuels. At AN16 the weight saving of a nylon cover over a stainless braid is at its most noticeable, and the softer outer surface is far kinder to bodywork and looms on the long runs this hose is used for. It remains a stiff hose, so plan wide sweeping bends and use AN16 nylon-cover PTFE hose ends.
