A weld-in male AN bung in stainless, used to add a proper flared port where none exists. It is welded into the wall of a fuel tank, surge tank, catch can, sump or reservoir, after which any matching AN hose end or adapter simply threads on and seals against the 37-degree flare seat. Stainless is the sensible pick when the vessel itself is stainless, or when the port sits somewhere damp, salty or heat-affected and you would rather not chase corrosion later. Weld with filler compatible with the parent material, and keep heat down so the flare seat does not distort. Please confirm the AN size you need before ordering.
