A straight adapter joining an AN12 37-degree male flare to a 3/4″ NPT male pipe thread. The two sizes are well matched, so this is one of the go-to fittings when a 3/4″ pipe-tapped port on a pump, cooler, filter head or tank bung needs to feed a large -12 AN hose run. Typical uses include oil cooler circuits, dry sump lines, transmission cooler plumbing and high-volume fuel systems. NPT is tapered and relies on interference plus sealant, so wind PTFE tape or apply a fluid-compatible paste starting a thread back from the leading edge and avoid overtightening into alloy castings. The AN flare seals on its own.
