A straight adapter joining an AN20 37-degree male flare to a 1,1/4″ NPT male pipe thread. This is genuinely large-bore hardware, matched end for end, and it is used where volume is everything: dry sump scavenge, oil tank feeds and returns, coolant transfer, and breather or evacuation plumbing on race engines. Because both ends are big, it gives an essentially unrestricted path from a 1-1/4″ pipe-tapped boss into -20 AN hose. Seal the tapered NPT thread with a fluid-compatible sealant and tighten with restraint, since a thread this size can easily crack a casting boss. The AN flare seals metal-to-metal, dry and correctly torqued.
