This inverted seat adapter combines an AN6 37-degree flare with a 1/2 x 20 inverted flare thread. The 1/2 x 20 inverted flare is a common original-equipment size on fuel and hydraulic hard lines, and its seat angle and geometry differ from an AN flare, so a purpose-made adapter is the only correct way to join the two. Fitted at the point where the factory line ends, it lets you continue in -6 AN braided hose for a fuel feed, return or hydraulic run. The inverted flare seat seals on metal contact when properly torqued and needs no sealant or tape; check the seat faces are clean and undamaged before assembly.
