A 90-degree elbow adapter joining an AN3 male flare to a 1/8 inch NPT male thread. It is the standard way to bring a small-bore AN line into a threaded port when there is no room to run straight out, which happens constantly with gauge lines, oil pressure take-offs, boost references and turbo oil feeds where the port faces directly into a rocker cover or chassis rail. AN3 is the smallest common line size, so use this for sensing and low-volume duties rather than main flow paths. The NPT end seals on its taper and needs a suitable sealant, while the AN flare seals metal to metal and must be assembled dry.
