The AN8 version of the fuel cell fitting, giving a larger bore than the AN6 for higher flow duties. It provides a standard AN8 male flare on the outside of the tank so the fuel cell can be plumbed with normal braided hose and AN hose ends, giving a serviceable, motorsport-acceptable joint rather than a barb and clamp. AN8 is the usual choice for the main feed from a fuel cell on a well-developed engine, and for pump inlet lines where restriction on the suction side must be kept low. Confirm the flange, bolt pattern and sealing method suit your tank before ordering, and use fuel-compatible sealing components throughout the assembly.
