An AN3 90° swivel adapter for small-bore hydraulic and instrument plumbing. The female swivel end can be rotated after the male thread is tightened, which lets a brake or clutch line, gauge feed or sender hose leave a caliper, master cylinder or manifold port at a right angle without kinking. That flexibility is particularly welcome on brake work, where AN3 hose is short, stiff and often routed through very confined brackets. Sealing is on the 37° cone, so inspect both seats before assembly and re-check the joint after bedding in — hydraulic circuits give no warning before they let go.
