An AN8 90° adapter combining a male flare with a rotating female swivel, letting a mid-size hose turn a right angle off a port without being twisted into shape. AN8 typically carries fuel feed on higher-output engines, oil cooler lines, breather and catch-can runs and pump returns, and at this size a fixed elbow often puts the hose at an awkward angle that a swivel end avoids entirely. Fit the male thread first, then rotate the swivel to line up the hose and tighten. Ensure both 37° seats are unmarked before assembly, since the cone face is the only sealing surface.
