At 60mm diameter and 50mm tall, this is the mid-size breather in the range and the one most builders end up choosing. The extra element area over the 40x40mm unit gives noticeably more airflow, which matters on engines that push serious blow-by past the rings: worn high-mileage motors, boosted builds and anything spending time near the limiter. Fit it to a catch tank vent port, a rocker cover breather or a fuel cell vent where oil and fuel mist must be kept out of the engine bay. It is a sensible default where bonnet clearance allows, since an undersized breather can pressurise the crankcase and push oil past seals.
