A 45-degree AN12 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter design slices into the hose liner as the socket is tightened, locking the assembly mechanically rather than relying on grip alone. At AN12 the hose is heavy and has a large minimum bend radius, so a gentle 45-degree turn at the fitting is often the only way to start the run in the right direction without stressing the hose. Suited to dry sump scavenge and pressure lines, large oil coolers, fuel pump suction and coolant plumbing. Support the fitting firmly during assembly and lubricate the liner and threads generously.
