A 120-degree AN8 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. Tightening the socket drives the internal cutter into the hose liner for a positive mechanical hold. This angle goes beyond a right angle, starting the hose back along the side it came from, and it earns its place where a 90 leaves the line pointing into an obstruction. On AN8 plumbing, which is stiff enough to resist being coaxed round after the fitting, that saved space is real. Typical uses are main fuel feeds, oil cooler and remote filter lines and power steering return. Work out the required clocking on the vehicle before you cut and assemble.
