A 120-degree AN12 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. As the socket tightens, the internal cutter slices into the liner and grips the hose mechanically, which is what large-bore lines need once filled and under vibration. AN12 hose has a big minimum bend radius, so any turn beyond a right angle is far better done inside the fitting than out in the hose. Use it on dry sump scavenge and pressure lines, big oil coolers, fuel pump suction and coolant runs where the line must head back alongside the port. Clamp the cutter body firmly during assembly and lubricate the liner and threads well.
