30-degree push-on hose end in AN12 (-12), pushing straight onto socketless hose and gripping the barb without a clamp or crimped socket. AN12 is large-bore territory: oil cooler circuits, dry-sump scavenge, coolant and radiator plumbing, fuel cell venting and big breather runs on serious race engines. Thirty degrees is the gentlest correction available, for when a straight fitting just fouls a bracket but a 45 would swing the hose too far off line. Support long AN12 runs with P-clips, as the weight of assembled hose will work a loose line over time. Fit it to hose made for push-on use and seat the hose fully against the fitting shoulder.
