Dash 8 PTFE-lined hose with a black stainless steel braided cover, cut to the length you order. The step up in bore suits main fuel supply on higher-output engines, oil cooler feeds and remote filter plumbing where a dash 6 would restrict flow. The PTFE liner resists ethanol-blend fuels, hot oil and the chemicals that harden and swell rubber hose over time, while the braid handles abrasion and gives the hose its strength. Larger PTFE hose is stiff, so allow a generous bend radius and use angled hose ends rather than forcing a tight curve. Terminate only with olive-type PTFE hose ends of the same size.
