A cushioned P clamp at 44.5mm inside diameter, matched to AN24 hose. This is well beyond typical engine plumbing and into the territory of large transfer lines, big cooler circuits and heavy-duty installations, where a hose left unsupported becomes a genuine liability. The cushion inside the metal band spreads the clamping load across the hose cover instead of concentrating it on a hard edge, and isolates the line from direct metal contact. It is equally useful for tidying large ducting, conduit or cable bundles of the same outside diameter. Mount to solid structure and space the clamps closely enough that the line has no room to move.
