The M20 x 1.5 version of the billet take-off cover, aimed at the many European and Japanese engines that use an M20 filter thread rather than the imperial 3/4 x 16. It replaces the oil filter on the block entirely and routes full oil flow out through two female 1/2 BSPP ports to a remote filter head, an oil cooler or both. This is the part to choose when the standard filter position is unusable after an engine swap or when a turbo manifold has taken the space. Confirm your engine’s centre thread first, as fitting the wrong pitch will damage the block boss. Mount the remote housing solidly and observe correct feed and return direction throughout.
