Push-on hose is designed to be pushed straight onto a barbed or push-lock fitting without clamps or ferrules, which makes it fast to assemble and easy to modify in the workshop. This is the 3/8 inch size, 9.52mm internal diameter, a common bore for fuel feed and return lines, breather runs, oil drain lines and general low pressure plumbing. The reinforced construction grips the fitting barb tightly once pushed home, and the assembly gets more secure under pressure rather than less. Cut it square with a sharp blade for the cleanest seal, push fully onto the barb, and keep it away from direct exhaust heat unless it is shielded. Suits low pressure applications only.
