PTFE-lined hose in dash 6 with a black nylon-jacketed braid, cut per metre. Dash 6 is the size most EFI fuel systems are plumbed in, and the PTFE liner is why: it is unaffected by ethanol content and modern fuel additives that swell and degrade rubber, and it does not permeate fuel vapour the way rubber hose does. The nylon jacket over the braid reduces weight and stops the hose sawing into paintwork, bulkheads or wiring where it passes close by. Terminate with PTFE hose ends that use an olive on the liner. Tape the hose before cutting and ease the braid back carefully so no strands sit under the olive.
