AN6 hose with a PTFE liner under a stainless steel braid, supplied per foot. AN6 is the general-purpose performance size and covers most EFI fuel feed and return work as well as power steering and smaller oil cooler and turbo lines. The PTFE liner is the practical upgrade over rubber: no fuel vapour permeation, no hardening or cracking after a few summers, and complete indifference to ethanol and methanol blends. The stainless braid keeps the hose from swelling under pressure and protects it where it passes close to hot or moving components. PTFE hose needs a wider bend radius than rubber, and it must be assembled with PTFE-specific AN6 hose ends.
