Push-on hose in dash 8, with a bore of roughly 12.7mm, supplied by the metre. The step up in size makes it the right choice for oil cooler plumbing, larger fuel supply runs and coolant lines where a dash 6 would restrict flow. It is made to work with push-lock barbed hose ends: push the hose fully onto the barb and the profile holds it without a clamp or crimp. Larger sizes are stiffer, so warm the hose slightly or use assembly lube. Use only with push-on style fittings, not PTFE or braided ends, and add a clamp on pressurised lines for peace of mind.
