An extended-body carburettor inlet adapter with a 7/8X20 thread and a 50.9mm body length. Choose the long version where the shorter 30.8mm adapter leaves the hose end buried against the float bowl, air cleaner base or throttle linkage: the added reach brings the AN flare out into open space so it can be assembled and torqued with a proper spanner, and it relieves the bend the braided feed line has to make. The 7/8-20 inlet is the fuel entry thread on many performance four-barrel carburettors and dual-feed bowls. Verify your carburettor’s inlet thread before ordering, and check bonnet and air cleaner clearance for the longer body.
