The screened variant of the AN16 O-ring port fitting, combining an AN16 male 37-degree flare on the hose side with an AN16 male O-ring port thread and a built-in straining element inside the casting. This is the large-bore option for dry sump tank outlets, big oil reservoirs and high-volume scavenge points, where the cost of debris reaching a pump is severe and the screen area needs to be generous enough not to restrict flow. The port seals on its O-ring against the machined boss face, so nothing goes on the threads. Remove and clean the screen periodically, particularly during the first few hours after an engine build.
