An alloy banjo bolt threaded M16x1.5 with a 24mm shank. The 1.5 pitch is the coarser M16 option and appears on a different set of components to the 1.25 version, so confirm the port with a thread gauge before ordering. The large bore makes it suitable for fuel supply, oil feed and other connections where you do not want the fitting to become the restriction in the circuit. The 24mm shank allows for a standard banjo eye plus a crush washer on each side. Replace washers whenever the joint is opened, ensure the port face is flat and clean, and tighten the alloy bolt in stages to avoid stripping.
