An alloy banjo bolt threaded M10x1.25 with a 20mm length. This is the coarser of the two common M10 brake pitches, and it appears on a different set of calipers, master cylinders and fuel components to the 1.0 pitch, so gauge the port before ordering. In use the bolt carries fluid through its centre into the banjo eye, so the hose end can be rotated to the ideal angle and then clamped solidly against the flat port face. The 20mm shank is sized for a standard single banjo with a washer either side. Replace the crush washers every time the joint is opened and torque gently, as alloy strips easily.
