Straight AN8 cutter style hose end. The cutter nipple bites into the hose liner as the socket is drawn up, giving a positive mechanical hold that many builders prefer over tapered ends on hard-worked plumbing. AN8 is where you move once AN6 starts limiting flow: main fuel feeds on higher-output engines, oil cooler and remote filter runs, power steering return, and transmission cooler lines. The straight body adds no bend to the assembly, so use it wherever the port and the hose already line up and you want the shortest, least restrictive path. Built for rubber-lined braided hose, not PTFE. Assemble with plenty of lubricant on the threads and liner.
