A 45-degree AN8 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. As the socket is tightened, the internal cutter slices into the hose liner and locks the assembly mechanically. The moderate bend is useful on AN8 plumbing because the hose is already stiff at this size and resists tight turns: 45 degrees redirects it away from the port without forcing a hard radius immediately after the fitting. Common uses are main fuel feeds, oil cooler and remote filter lines, power steering return and transmission cooler runs. Plan the clocking of the fitting before final assembly, since a fixed-angle end must be positioned correctly on the hose.
