A 120-degree AN6 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter nipple slices into the hose liner as the socket draws up, holding the hose mechanically. Going past a right angle is a specialist routing move: it sends the hose back on itself at a shallow angle, which is what you need when a port faces outwards but the line has to double back along the block, chassis rail or firewall. At AN6 this typically applies to fuel feed and return lines, oil pressure take-offs and gauge plumbing in very tight installations. Confirm the fitting’s clocking against your actual route before assembly, as past-square angles are unforgiving of guesswork.
