A 90-degree AN16 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter design carves into the hose liner as the socket is drawn up, giving the mechanical hold a heavy large-bore assembly needs. AN16 hose is extremely stiff and simply cannot be bent tightly near a fitting, so a right-angle body is often the only practical way to leave a tank boss, sump rail or radiator port without fouling something. Used on dry sump tank and scavenge lines, coolant transfer, large breathers and fuel cell suction. Assembly at this size requires proper clamping and plenty of lubricant, and the finished line should be pressure-tested.
