A worm drive hose clamp with a 9mm band and a wide 40mm to 60mm clamping range. It suits large coolant hoses, intake and airbox ducting, and silicone joins around 45mm to 57mm pipework. The broad range makes it handy during fabrication when hose sizes are still being finalised, though a clamp working near the bottom of its span will carry a long tail of surplus band that should be positioned so it cannot chafe adjacent components. Seat the clamp over the spigot barb, keep it square and tighten progressively. On thicker hose, expect to re-tension after the first few heat cycles.
