This adapter takes the M22x1.5 port on a universal oil cooler and converts it to AN12, the largest option in our cooler adapter range. AN12 is the choice for dry sump scavenge and feed circuits, big-capacity race engines and installations where the cooler is mounted a long way from the engine and the extra bore is needed to keep pressure drop under control. Where AN8 or AN10 might restrict flow through a boot-mounted or front-mounted cooler with several metres of hose, AN12 keeps the circuit breathing. Fit one to each port. Bear in mind AN12 hose and ends cost more and need larger bend radii, so only step up if the oil volume genuinely warrants it.
