A one-piece cutter-style hose end in AN12 with a 150-degree bend. Socket and nipple form one assembly, so a hose is built by cutting the braid square, pushing it home onto the nipple and tightening the socket to swage the joint. The 150-degree angle is a genuine problem-solver at AN12, since hose this size is stiff and simply will not double back without kinking. Letting the fitting do the turning keeps the hose within its bend radius and keeps flow clean. AN12 is used for dry sump scavenge, high-volume oil plumbing, breather and vent lines and large fuel runs where restriction cannot be tolerated.
