A one-piece cutter-style hose end in AN16 with a 90-degree bend. The socket and nipple arrive as a single assembly, so assembly is a square cut on the braid, a full push onto the nipple and tightening of the socket to swage the joint. On AN16 hose the elbow is not a convenience but a necessity for any sharp turn, because a hose this stiff and this large in bore simply cannot bend to a right angle without kinking. AN16 handles coolant and header tank plumbing, crankcase breather and vent lines, dry sump reservoir connections and large transfer runs.
