Motul Gear 300 LS 75W90 is an ester-based fully synthetic gear oil to API GL-5, with the friction modifier that clutch-type limited slip differentials require built into the blend, so no separate additive is needed. That modifier is what lets the LSD plates slip progressively instead of grabbing and chattering through slow, tight turns. The 75W90 multigrade suits differentials, transfer cases and both synchronised and non-synchronised manual gearboxes that specify this grade, and the synthetic base holds up better than a mineral oil when the axle runs hot on track or under load. The 1 litre bottle matches typical diff capacities closely. Be aware that GL-5 chemistry is not always suitable for gearboxes that specifically require GL-4.
