Motul Multi ATF is a multi-vehicle automatic transmission fluid, blended to satisfy a wide spread of manufacturer requirements from a single bottle rather than stocking a separate fluid for every marque. That makes it a practical choice for a general workshop or for anyone running several different vehicles. Typical applications are conventional planetary automatic gearboxes, torque converters, power steering racks and pumps, and hydraulic systems calling for an ATF. The important caveat with any multi-vehicle fluid is that the manufacturer’s approval list is the deciding factor, not the general description, so check that your specific gearbox appears on it before filling. Gearboxes requiring a dedicated CVT, DCT or proprietary factory fluid should be filled with that fluid instead.
