A reducing straight adapter with an AN8 male 37-degree flare on one end and an AN10 male O-ring port thread on the other. Oil pans, coolers, remote filter heads, surge tanks and larger pumps are commonly machined with AN10 ORB bosses even where an AN8 line does the job, and this fitting makes that connection in one piece instead of a stack of adapters. The straight thread relies on its O-ring against the machined boss face for sealing, so no tape or paste is used and the joint remains serviceable. AN8 suits high-output fuel feeds, oil cooler runs and gearbox cooler plumbing.
