A reducing straight adapter with an AN6 male 37-degree flare on one end and an AN8 male O-ring port thread on the other. Fuel pumps, regulators, filter housings and oil coolers are frequently cast with AN8 ORB ports even when the system only needs AN6 plumbing, and this is the fitting that bridges that gap without adapter stacking. The straight port thread and its O-ring seal on the machined face of the boss, so no tape or paste is needed and the joint can be broken and remade during a rebuild. AN6 suits EFI fuel feed and return, power steering and modest oil circuits.
