A straight AN8 to 3/8″ NPT adapter. 3/8″ NPT is probably the most widely used pipe thread on performance components – fuel pumps, regulators, filter and cooler housings, surge tanks, oil pressure take-offs and manifold ports are all commonly tapped this way – which makes this a staple adapter on almost any AN8 fuel or oil build. The bore suits AN8 reasonably well, so it will not badly restrict a feed or return line. The AN8 flare end seals dry on its 37-degree cone and must never be taped. The 3/8″ NPT end is a tapered pipe thread and does need PTFE tape or liquid thread sealant on the male thread to seal reliably. Fit it snug, add a little turn to point the fitting where you want it, and stop.
