An alloy banjo bolt with an M12x1.25 thread and a 20mm shank. Moving up to M12 gives a larger through-bore than the M10 sizes, which suits fuel and oil banjo joints where flow matters, as well as larger brake unions. The fine 1.25 pitch is common on Japanese components in particular. As with all banjo joints, the seal is made by soft washers crushing against flat faces on either side of the banjo eye, not by the thread, so fresh washers on both faces are non-negotiable. The 20mm length suits a standard single banjo. Alloy bolts are light but soft, so torque by feel and avoid reusing a bolt with damaged threads.
