The methanol-specific version of the 61mm billet inline fuel filter. Alcohol fuels are harder on filtration hardware than petrol, attacking some seal materials and encouraging corrosion in the tank that then arrives at the filter, so a housing and element combination selected for methanol compatibility is worth the extra outlay on any serious alcohol-fuelled build. The billet body strips down for cleaning, letting you inspect the element between meetings and see exactly what the system is picking up, which is genuinely useful diagnostic information on a methanol car. Mount it in a bracket with the flow direction arrow observed, and service it far more often than you would a petrol filter.
