A 90-degree AN8 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. Tightening the socket drives the internal cutter into the hose liner, giving a mechanical hold rather than a friction one. The right-angle body is the standard answer to a port that faces the wrong way in a crowded engine bay: it turns the hose immediately, keeping the assembly short and stopping a stiff AN8 line from being forced into a kink. Common on main fuel feeds, oil cooler and remote filter lines, power steering return and transmission cooler runs. Because the angle is fixed, decide on the hose orientation before final assembly and lubricate the liner well.
