A cushioned P clamp with a 25.4mm inside diameter, matched to AN12 hose. At this size the hose is substantial and, filled with fluid, carries real weight, so support points do more than tidy the engine bay: they stop the hose loading its own fittings every time the car moves. The cushion inside the band protects the cover from abrasion and damps vibration into the mounting point. Use it on large fuel, oil cooler and scavenge runs. Mount to solid structure, avoid clamping right up against a fitting where the hose needs freedom to flex, and never squeeze an oversized hose into a smaller clamp.
