A worm drive hose clamp with a 12mm band and a 70mm to 90mm clamping range. It is aimed at the larger end of charge-air and induction work, covering silicone couplers on 76mm and 88mm pipework and big air ducting joins. The wide band distributes the load over more of the coupler wall, giving a more even seal than a narrow band can at these diameters. Fit the clamp over the pipe’s bead where one is present, keep the band flat on a straight length and tighten in stages while working it round the joint. Re-check tension after the first heat cycles and after any initial boost testing.
