AN8 PTFE hose with a nylon braided cover. AN8 is where fuel systems go once AN6 is no longer enough, and it is also a common choice for oil cooler and gearbox cooler runs. The PTFE liner gives zero fuel vapour permeation, resists ethanol and methanol blends and copes with sustained hot oil. Compared with a stainless braid, the nylon cover cuts weight and improves flexibility, so an AN8 line is easier to route and clamp without fighting it, and there is no exposed wire to wear through paint or a loom.
