AN16 PTFE hose with a stainless steel braid, from the same range as the smaller sizes. AN16 is a bulk-flow hose used for dry sump tank feeds, large oil reservoir plumbing, breather systems and high-capacity fuel connections, where anything narrower would throttle the circuit. The PTFE liner is unaffected by hot oil, petrol and alcohol-blended fuels and does not permeate vapour or harden with age. The stainless braid holds the hose dimensionally stable and protects it along long chassis runs. At this diameter the hose is very stiff, so it needs a wide bend radius and well-planned routing, plus AN16 hose ends made specifically for PTFE hose.
