A stainless inverted seat adapter connecting an AN4 line to a 7/16-24 inverted flare thread. Stepping up to AN4 on the hose side suits builds running slightly larger braided lines, or circuits where an AN4 run already exists and the port it must land on is imperial. The inverted seat gives the factory pipe flare a female cone to seat against — the seal is made on that cone, not on the thread, so no sealant belongs on the joint. Note that 7/16-24 and 7/16-20 share a diameter and differ only in pitch, so gauge the port before ordering rather than trusting a test-fit by feel. Stainless construction stands up to brake fluid and to the water and grit thrown at fittings near the wheels. Bleed fully and pressure-check before driving.
