AN3 hose with a PTFE liner and a stainless steel outer braid, sold by the foot. The small AN3 bore is intended for hydraulic brake and clutch circuits and for oil pressure gauge and sender feeds, where a hose that does not expand under pressure is essential for a firm pedal and an accurate reading. The PTFE liner is chemically inert against brake fluid, engine oil and alcohol-blended fuels, and it does not absorb moisture or harden over the years. The stainless braid provides the pressure containment and abrasion resistance. Fit AN3 hose ends specified for PTFE hose; rubber-hose ends will not seal correctly on a PTFE liner.
