A steel weld-in bung that creates a male AN6 port in any steel fabrication. AN6 is the size most builds use for fuel feed and return, oil lines, power steering return and general medium-duty plumbing, so this is one of the most commonly ordered bungs in the range. Steel welds readily into mild steel fuel tanks, sumps, chassis rails and mounting plates using MIG or TIG, and it is the cost-effective choice where corrosion is not a concern or the panel will be sealed and painted afterwards. Run a full weld around the flange, keep the heat sensible, and thread on any AN6 hose end without sealant.
