The extended-body version of the steel AN6 weld bung. The longer body is there so the threaded end clears thick steel tank walls, boxed sections, floor pans or recessed pockets, giving you room to swing a spanner on the mating hose end rather than fighting for access. The added length also puts distance between the weld pool and the 37-degree flare seat, which helps keep the sealing surface true. AN6 handles fuel feed and return, oil plumbing and power steering return on most street and club-level builds. Weld it fully around into mild steel with MIG or TIG, and protect the exposed thread from weld spatter.
